Kelly Ripa's Shih-Tzu

Kelly Ripa, the 39 year old co-host of Live with Regis and Kelly, is the owner of a new Shih-Tzu puppy named Chewy Consuelos. Apparently Ripa jokingly refers to the dog as “the world’s largest Shih Tzu.” The Ripa family rescued Chewy from the North Shore Animal League.

The Shih Tzu is a Small dog breed, with a starting weight of 9 lbs that can reach 16 lbs. This dog breed has a typical lifespan of 12 to 16 years, Long hair, and has Lite shedding. Learn more about Shih-Tzu here, or view Shih-Tzu pictures and videos.
